How to Choose the Right Ceiling Fan
Measure the Room Size
Determine the square meter of your room.
Length (meters) x Width (meters) of room = room's sqm
Measure the Ceiling Height
For ceilings 2.4 meter or lower, consider hugger ceiling fans (Hiro or Altis+).
For higher ceilings, you may need an extended downrod for proper installation.
In Singapore, the standard ceiling height for flats is typically about 2.6 meters, allowing most fans models to be suitable.
Determine Fan Size and Number of Blades
Choose the appropriate fan size based on the room size and clearance space required.
When choosing ceiling fan, you need to consider leaving space for blades to wall side / L-Box side / Cabinet and lights roughly 45 – 60 cm.
Refer to the table below to streamline the fan sizes choice you have.

If your room already has a lot of natural light or already has other light fixtures, lights will not be necessary.
